System Registration
Registration of Abound Solar modules is required to provide system owners with key benefits¹:
- Full warranty coverage
- Abound-funded recycling at end-of-life
- Latest technical information regarding Abound Solar modules
- Abound Solar warrants to the registered purchaser that each photovoltaic module will be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service conditions for a period of five (5) years.
Abound Solar warrants for a period of ten (10) years from the Warranty Start Date to the registered purchaser that each module will produce at least 90% of its nominal power output rating as indicated on the Product Label. Abound Solar warrants for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the Warranty Start Date to the registered purchaser that each module will produce at least 80% of its nominal power output rating as indicated on the Product Label.
Systems must be registered to be eligible for warranty and recycling coverage. Customers who have purchased modules directly from Abound can register systems in the Customer Portal. Customers who did not buy modules directly from Abound and/or purchased modules through a distributor or property purchase may contact customer support at Customer Service for more information.
During the process the following information may be required:
- Location & project size
- Project Architecture Review (if available)
- Module serial numbers
- Name and contact information for system owners
